Official AIBVC Manager app for organising and following beach tournaments
Browse a monthly tournament calendar, register with a partner, and access match schedules and elimination brackets court-side. AIBVC Manager, created by Thomas Casali, targets the Italian beach volleyball circuit and sports organizers. It combines membership tools, an interactive map of sports centers, and a Beach Power player-level indicator. Players, club staff, and followers benefit because the app caches tournament data for offline use and pushes notifications for registration openings and schedule changes.
How the app fits into a player's weekly routine
The app focuses on the tasks players do between practice and match day: checking upcoming events, signing up with a partner, and tracking personal rankings. The calendar shows monthly views with category filters, and registration happens in-app, so players can complete entries from their phone before leaving home. The Beach Power metric updates from tournament results, giving a measurable sense of current form.
How it supports club organisers during event planning
Club staff can request tournaments and publish results through the same interface used by players, which keeps announcements and brackets in one place. The app provides club management tools and interactive maps of competition fields, letting organisers assign venues and share field locations with participants. Push notifications let organisers notify attendees about registration openings and schedule changes quickly.
How reliable it is for court-side use
Offline accessibility is an explicit design goal: the app caches the latest tournaments, matches, and membership cards so users can consult schedules without a network. Real-time match schedules and group standings sync when a connection exists, while cached items remain accessible at remote beach locations. This design addresses spotty coverage common at outdoor venues.
How it handles identity, rankings, and privacy
The app issues a digital membership card with a QR code suitable for offline verification and shows national and youth rankings alongside athlete history. Account creation typically occurs on the association website, after which users log in to the app with the same credentials or via Google or Apple authentication. These flows imply credential reuse and centralized ranking updates managed by the organisation.
To sum up, a useful option for active players and organisers
To sum up, AIBVC Manager is a useful option for players, coaches, and club staff who need a single place to handle registrations, event logistics, and ranking visibility. It suits people who spend time at coastal venues and need cached data for offline access. One consideration: account setup begins on the association website, so users should complete that step before relying on the app at a tournament.
